Canine Rabies outbreak in the Eastern Cape sits squarely in the most densely populated part of the province between the Kei river, Lesotho and KZN.

Sadly a 7yr old girl from Maclear area died following a bite on the leg by a dog, for which she did not seek treatment, late in June.

A third case is being investigated at present in Lusikisiki.
